Brazil's Top Virtual Fitness Apps Q4 2023: A Sensor Tower Report

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazil's virtual fitness app landscape saw varied user engagement across top applications. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse of how these apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

StepWinner, despite generating no revenue, experienced a fluctuating pattern in downloads, starting at 123K in the last week of September and significantly dropping to 8K by mid-December. The app's weekly active users peaked at 275K in the third week of November before descending to 171K by the year's end.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained a steady revenue stream, with a noticeable uptick from $49K to $67K between November and December. The app's downloads saw a high of 68K in the final week of December, while weekly active users surged to over 1.1M during the same period, marking the highest engagement among the top apps.

Jolly Steps had a mixed quarter with downloads peaking at 86K in late October but then falling to around 8K by mid-December. The weekly active users for Jolly Steps reflected a similar trend, reaching a high of 174K in October and then declining to 111K by the quarter's end.

HryFine showed consistent growth in weekly active users, from 315K in late September to over 350K by Christmas. Downloads for HryFine also increased towards the end of the quarter, with a jump from 41K to 58K in December.

Home Workout - No Equipment saw its revenue rising modestly from $2K to $2.5K over the quarter. Downloads peaked at 62K in early October but ended the year at 38K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 380K towards the end of December.
